I first visited Park City in 1965 to ski and moved to Utah in 1969. My wife and I made Park City our home in 1981.
Years of teaching skiing on the beautiful mountains and enjoying the funky historic towns with all the fun events inspired me to learn how to draw and capture the delightful essence of the Western experience.
The more I painted the more I wanted to learn about painting and
sculpture as an end in itself.
I practiced capturing the light with Pastels, plein air, as well as abstract expressive forms of color
with oils.
After years of adjustments and experimenting I have evolved to a point where I am
exploring all aspects of the Western experience with Horse sculpture, quick sketches, Pastels, pen and ink, Acrylic and oils.
Lisa and I have traveled all over the West attending Art shows, visiting museums and admiring the clouds and landscapes.
